The island’s winter is in full swing, and heating up with three new openings to know, and love…

  1. Tutto Mare - a sea breeze supper

Royal Poinciana’s Plaza’s waterfront room reads like a Mediterranean apartment at golden hour. Think pale neutrals, low hum, and a staff who flow with ballet timing. The cooking is restrained in the best way, bright crudos, delicate pastas, and fish grilled to perfection. Take it from us, the restaurant is build for conversation, not showmanship.

Order: the crudo of the day, lemony linguini, something from the grill

When to go: just before sunset, as for a table with a sightline to the water!

  1. Drift Coffee - my daytime habit

A light-filled coffee bar designed for early starts and elegant errands. Excellent disciplined espresso, cool-green matcha, crisp sandals, and a pastry case that tests restraint… It’s the kind of place where a quick cappuccino is a daily reset.

Order: cappuccino + almond croissant in the morning; chopped salad + iced almond matcha latte by noon

Best use: post-workout debriefs, pre-meeting emails, any hour with a copy of Joan Didion

  1. Cartier - the salon return

Cartier’s new boutique at The Royal is less store than a jewel box. The flagship’s soft carpets, serious service, and a museum’s sense of calm around all things sparkle. The icons are here, naturally, alongside high jewelry that rewards close looking. Browse before dinner at Tutto Mare, decide on the walk back.

The Palm Chic Circuit

Drift for a measured coffee, a contemplative lap through Cartier, and the dinner at Tutto Mare is a dream day in our book. This triad is Palm Beach at her most refined: effortless, edited, and assured.
